Joseph P. Bias

Prior to joining Duff, White & Turner, Joseph served as a law clerk to the Honorable Alison R. Lee in Columbia and as an Assistant Public Defender in Richland County, gaining valuable experience both behind and in front of the bench. While in law school, Joseph clerked for a plaintiff's law firm and served as USC School of Law's Chief Justice of the Mock Trial Bar. In that role, he founded the Judge J. Lyles Glenn Sr. Internal Trial Advocacy Competition and served on the President's Council.
In his spare time, Joseph volunteers as the Attorney Coach of the Longleaf Middle Mock Trial team. He is a proud Wofford Terrier and enjoys watching sports with his dog Lilly.
